About Me
Erik Heen is a former Montana sheep rancher who somehow became a federal investigator in Houston, Texas. After twenty years of snooping into other people’s business, he quit the rat race and began writing stories.
He was named Fanstory.com’s “Short Works Writer of the Year” in 2011 and is a contributing writer for Mensa Bulletin magazine. Erik has competed in several Moth Story Slam competitions, winning seven, including victories in the Grand Slam Finals in 2018 and 2020.
He also hosts the radio talk show “So, What’s Your Story” on KPFT 90.1 in Houston.
